[Collective] raygunsueORG

Postby Sophia » Mon Jul 31, 2017 5:09 pm

-waves- Hi team! Given the intent of this forum, I will likely use this for further updates, but I wanted to share that I am 98.9% done with my domain revamp for the (I don't like you either, Firefox), completed as prompted by the Flower Garden Layout Marathon's fresh start keyword (+ one flower!), and in fact it is live despite missing that 1.01% ... because I jump before thinking every time.

I need to draft a large table of other hobby collectives I'm aware of, as is usually done on exit pages -- when I started making sites in November, I thought it might be rude, or creepy, somehow, if I had linked to someone without speaking to them before? Anyway. Please know I'll be compiling that soon. ❤

Thank you Saya! :excited: ❤ I've realized that I really like a layout that changes as I move through it, so I really like hover-able bits.

I can see what you mean about Firefox but this idea is so cool!

One thing though. I noticed your admired links open in the little pop up window instead of a new window. Thought I should let you know.

The layout is super creative, Sophia!!

At first I have to admit I was sort of locked on the center, so I didn't discover the navigation until I really moved around, but once I did so it was really fun to play with, and I really like the overall theme and how the hovers tie in with the page heading on each popup. I really love how you set up the pages, especially the organization/"anything here" section. :excited:

The same issue occurs with the links to Amassment and TRK. And your email link (both on the exit page and the about me page) only works, I assume, if someone uses gmail (and is logged in).

The whole layout is really inspirational! Great job on it.

@Masao and @Crystal: ugh, thank you both so much. I promise I do try to check for errors, despite how .. often .. people .. find them ... Oof. Everything you've pointed out has been corrected now.

Right now the layout is a table, which Larissa has assured me is passe , so I will be trying to accomplish the same thing via divs this weekend or next, which I hope will solve some Firefox issues.

Thank you for looking it over at all. ❤ Really does mean a lot!

Gosh Sophia, good job trying out something new, it looks great! <3 <3 I hope pulling this off gives you more confidence to have another go at that Sailor Jupiter collage you mention! The combo of grey and pink has always been among my favourites.

I am also very happy to see all the new bonus blurbs for your creations. <O><O> Wow at going the extra mile to pick site-specific colours for each of those - diligent as always! (I do have to add that the link colour on Quistis' blurb is hard to read though. Maybe make it slightly darker?)
in the dark,
ephemeral looks a lot like eternal.
